For the last few years I have been examining the emergence life - organic from inorganic, biology out of chemistry - that is to say, Evolution.

Most recently, I have been focusing on the evolutionary idea of repetition. Specifically, the sometimes subtle changes (mutations) that, over time, become magnified and create new patterns out of the old. In this way the same process can create new versions of successful forms.
